Information
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF YOUR HOLIDAY
· Transfers to and from the airport/hotel for BA Scheduled flights (please see Flight and Travel Arrangements for details)
· 7 night’s accommodation, with either full or half board, depending on the holiday chosen. Full board includes continental breakfast, lunch and dinner. Half board includes continental breakfast and usually dinner, although on some days, depending on the nature of excursions, it will include lunch instead of dinner. On some excursions a packed lunch may be provided, which will be prepared, either by the hotels catering staff, or by a specialist firm of caterers.
· Excursions by air-conditioned coach or taxis as per itinerary.
· Entrance fees to archaeological sites in the itinerary
· The services of the Artist in Residence or Photography tutor
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF YOUR HOLIDAY
· Flights
· Paints and other artist’s materials and requisites. There is a shop near the hotel, which stocks a range of artist’s materials.
· Photographic materials and equipment of any kind
· Travel insurance – you are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance. Prestige Holidays will be pleased to arrange this at your request.
THE WEATHER & WHAT TO WEAR
Please remember that Greece is a hot Mediterranean country and that on most days from May to October there is little or no cloud cover. A hat with a brim is essential if you are to be outside for any length of time, as are sunglasses and sun cream with a high factor. For those who will be painting outside, an item of clothing with long sleeves will help to protect arms from excessive exposure to the sun. Always try and work in the shade.
